PESHAWAR: Rescue teams have recovered the bodies of five more coal miners trapped in a mine collapse in the Tora Warai area of Kurram district. According to rescue sources on Tuesday, one body was retrieved yesterday, while the remaining five were recovered today, bringing the total number of victims to six. District Emergency Officer Farmanullah stated that the tragic incident occurred four days ago when a section of the coal mine caved in, trapping six workers inside. Rescue teams worked tirelessly under extremely difficult conditions for four consecutive days to recover all the bodies from the mine. The deceased miners’ bodies have been handed over to their families and transported to their respective hometowns by ambulance. The rescue operation has now been completed. APP
