The cryptocurrency market remained bullish on Friday amid a weaker US dollar, with the market capitalization gaining 3.2 percent to reach $2.72 trillion.
As of 1355 hours GMT, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, went up to $67,913 with an increase of 1.3 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $1.334 trillion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 9.1 percent up in the past seven days.
Bitcoin crossed the $67,000 mark early Friday as it slowly looks to consolidate at around it’s all-time high of $69,000. The cryptocurrency is showcasing a renewed bullish trend driven by growing investor sentiment. The $65,000 level is witnessing strong support from bulls, pushing prices higher. Resistance is expected at $69,000 and $70,200. The influx of capital from traditional finance into spot Bitcoin ETFs is playing a pivotal role in the ongoing price surge, coupled with positive sentiment ahead of the imminent Bitcoin Halving.
On the other hand, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, went up by 4.7 percent to reach $3,988. With this increase in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $479.5 billion. ETH has gained 16 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Similarly, Binance Coin (BNB) price jumped by 9.5 percent to reach $487. The market capitalization of BNB has reached $75.1 billion with this increase. BNB has gained 19.9 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Following suit, Solana price jumped by 3.3 percent to reach $150. With this increase in price, its market capitalization has reached $66.4 billion. SOL has gained 11.5 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Similarly, the price of Ripple (XRP) increased by 1.3 percent to reach $0.630. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $34.4 billion with this increase. XRP has gained 6.3 percent of its value during the last seven days.
