Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur has acknowledged Bushra Bibi has been released due to his efforts. He said this while talking to journalists on the occasion of oath taking ceremony of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) in Aiwan-e-Sadr Saturday.
He also told the journalists reasons for proceeding to Peshawar by Bushra Bibi instead of Lahore. To a question from journalist how he felt coming in Aiwan-e-Sadr and attending oath taking ceremony, he said CJP hails from his area. Invitation was also received therefore, he deemed it proper to attend the ceremony. When Justice Mansoor Ali Shah accepted it on his own then why I would not have attended the ceremony.
To a question from journalist on deal and release of Bushra Bibi he said Bushra Bibi was released due to his efforts. It is a good thing. In future good things will happen too. I will go to the extreme end for release of Imran Khan.
About the media reports on going to Peshawar instead of Lahore by Bushra Bibi he said I was to provide security to her in Lahore too , therefore, I thought that her stay in Peshawar will remain better.
