Mardan: Commissioner Mardan Division Nisar Ahmed has directed the officials of the Communications and Works Department to complete the construction work of the bypass road from Bakhshali Interchange to Char Guli Road by May 15 and open it for general traffic. He was giving instructions to the concerned officials during the inspection of the construction work of the five and a half kilometer Bakhshali Bypass Road under construction at a cost of Rs 632 million. Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Syed Fahad Iftikhar, Assistant Commissioner Development Ijaz Khan Jadoon, AC Revenue Dawood Khan, Divisional Monitoring Officer, contractor firm and C&W officials were also present on the occasion. Superintending Engineer C&W Imran Khan while giving a briefing said that 96 percent of the work on this project has been completed and as per the instructions of Commissioner Mardan, this project will be completed by the middle of next month and opened for all types of traffic.
