Cantonment Board Mardan organized a fun fair for women and children during Eid holidays at Company Bagh Park and organized more than 120 colorful flower displays. The city’s first-ever family mela added to the Eid joy of the citizens, in which children and women participated in abundance. The mela included swings, various food stalls, face-paintings and hand-made stalls especially for children.
In which the females took great interest while the children had a lot of fun in the swings and jumping cages. On this occasion, the park was decorated with the lights of different lights which presented the scene of the day in the night. On the last day of the fair, Brigadier Punjab Regiment Center (PRC) Qazi Shahid Samad visited the fair.
CEO Seerat Asghar Qureshi, Cantonment Board Officer Riaz Muhammad were also present with him. On this occasion, CEO Cantonment Board Seerat Asghar Qureshi said that there are no such activities for females in Mardan and there is no amusement park for children and women in the city. The board had decided this time that a Mela would be organized for females and children during Eid.
He added that 120 different types of flowers have been kept in the park. There is no fee for swings and entry in the park. He said that the Cantonment Board will take more steps to provide better recreational opportunities to the citizens.
