Capital Diagnostic Centre and Galiyat Bakot Press Club sign agreement for provision of medical facilities

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the renowned laboratory, Capital Diagnostic Centre (CDC), and the Galiyat Bakot Press Club to provide a wide range of diagnostic tests and medical facilities to the members of the press club and their families.
The agreement-signing ceremony was held at the Shah Khalid Branch of Capital Diagnostic Centre on Old Airport Road, Rawalpindi, under the chairmanship of CDC’s Head of Marketing, Ms. Rubina Akbar.
The delegation of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club included its founder and General Secretary of the APP Workers Alliance, Khalid Iqbal Rabbani, Patron-in-Chief of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club, Sardar Abdul Waheed Hazarevi, President Sardar Saeed, and Finance Secretary Abid Iqbal. The delegation visited the centre and participated in the agreement-signing ceremony.
The MoU documents were signed by Sardar Saeed, President of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club, and Ms. Rubina Akbar, Head of Marketing at Capital Diagnostic Centre.
Under the agreement, members of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club and their families will receive up to 30 percent discount on all basic and advanced diagnostic tests and other medical facilities. It was also decided to organize medical camps at different times in Galiyat and Circle Bakot to provide medical facilities to the local population.
Farhan Riaz from the Head Office of Capital Diagnostic Centre briefed the delegation about the medical and diagnostic services being provided by CDC across Pakistan.
The Galiyat Bakot Press Club delegation was also given a tour of various departments of the laboratory.
They were briefed about the preparation of prompt and reliable reports for all basic and complex diagnostic tests under the supervision of experienced medical professionals, as well as modern digital X-ray, ultrasound, advanced scanning facilities, and the services of professionally trained staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Rubina Akbar, Head of Marketing at Capital Diagnostic Centre, said that under the leadership of CDC’s Chairman and Founder, Saeedullah Marwat, the primary objective of the organization is to provide the public with high-quality medical services at affordable and minimum possible rates without compromising on quality.
She said that maintaining patients’ trust and ensuring timely diagnosis of their health conditions are among the organization’s top priorities.
Farhan Riaz stated that some of Pakistan’s well-known, reliable, and experienced doctors are providing services through the CDC panel. He said that, under their supervision, CDC laboratories have been designed in accordance with international standards to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of diagnostic test results.
He further said that CDC branches in major cities across Pakistan are playing an important role in providing quality healthcare and diagnostic services to the public.
Farhan Riaz added that the construction of a world-class hospital at G-8 Markaz, Islamabad, under the Capital Diagnostic Centre, has also been completed and is expected to become operational soon. He further stated that CDC continues to facilitate the availability of blood and provides free blood donations to registered thalassemia patients through its centres.
On this occasion, the delegation of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club appreciated the modern, professional, and quality-oriented healthcare services being provided by Capital Diagnostic Centre to the public.
