ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police Sihala police team arrested two members of a former jailbird car lifters gang involved in car lifting incidents and recovered a stolen vehicle from their possession, a Police Public Relation Officer Said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in bike and car lifting incidents in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions, the Sihala police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two members of a former jailbird gang involved in a car lifting incident. The accused were identified as Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Naeem. Police team also recovered a stolen vehicle from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
