CCPO Peshawar inaugurates city traffic police station West

CCPO Peshawar, Qasim Ali Khan, inaugurated the newly constructed City Traffic Police Station Gharbi (West) in Cantt Division.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Saud Khan and other officials were present at the ceremony. During the event, a detailed briefing was provided on the station’s facilities, staff deployment, and initiatives aimed at improving the traffic system.
CCPO Qasim Ali Khan emphasized that the new station would enhance traffic management and provide better facilities for the personnel, ultimately boosting the efficiency of the City Traffic Police.
He also reviewed arrangements, inspected various sections of the station, and was briefed on anti-encroachment campaigns to reduce congestion.
Highlighting the importance of road safety, the CCPO called for a special awareness campaign to prevent traffic accidents and ensure smooth traffic flow using all available resources.
Later, the CCPO visited the West Police Station, Traffic Driving School, and Police Assistance Lines.
At the driving school, he inspected the test ground and stressed strict adherence to legal requirements for issuing driving licenses.
He also interacted with trainees and reviewed records, CCTV systems, and security measures at the West Police Station.
Concluding the visit, CCPO Qasim Ali Khan participated in a tree plantation drive, planting a sapling at the West Police Station.
A collective prayer was offered for the country’s peace and prosperity.
