A special Darbar held here on Tuesday with Capital City Police Officer (CCPO)ones Qasim Ali Khan in the chair.
On this occasion, problems facing the traffic police of the provincial capital were discussed, an official handout said.
The special Darabar held at Traffic Line was attended by all city traffic police officers including Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Peshawar Saud Khan.
Speaking to the participants, CCPO Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan said that the purpose of the Durbar was to get awareness of the problems of police officers and jawans and solve them on a priority basis.
The traffic police officers also pointed out the various problems faced by them.
While addressing the participants while issuing orders on the spot regarding the demands and suggestions presented during the meeting, he clarified that solving the problems of the police personnel is one of the top priorities.
The CCPO praised the dedication and performance of the traffic police, adding that the traffic police personnel followed the policy of first salam then kalam with good manners.
During the Durbar, CTO Saud Khan informed Qasim Ali Khan in detail about the performance of traffic police, on which the CCPO appreciated the performance of traffic police and allocated all resources for further improvement.
He directed to speed up the crackdown and further expand the traffic education, especially appreciating the ongoing crackdown against those who violate traffic rules on the University Road and other highways of the city.
