Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed on Wednesday conducted an extensive visit to various police stations and outposts in the Saddar Division, reviewing the security arrangements in light of the prevailing law and order situation.
During his visit, the CCPO thoroughly inspected key police facilities, including Hassankhel Police Station, Hameed Khan Machini Police Station, Matani, Srakhawra, Zingali, Badhbher, Saifan, and other nearby posts.
Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed reviewed building infrastructure, cleanliness, residential quarters for police personnel, availability of clean drinking water, and the condition of government-issued weapons. He also examined the monitoring systems of CCTV cameras and assessed internal and external security arrangements of each facility.
SP Saddar Division Raza Muhammad Khan and other senior officers briefed the CCPO on the current security protocols and measures in place.
The CCPO directed police officers to fully utilize all available resources to strengthen and streamline security, ensuring a foolproof system to protect citizens. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, vigilance, and proactive policing.
Commending the dedication of police personnel, CCPO distributed cash prizes to on-duty officials as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
He also interacted with citizens present at the police stations, listened to their grievances, inspected the status of remand cases, and instructed the Muharrar staff to ensure timely redressal of public complaints.
CCPO Peshawar stressed that all officers must treat citizens with respect, dignity, and fairness.
