CCPO says traders protection top priority in Peshawar

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Syed Ashfaq Anwar on Thursday said that all available resources would be utilized to protect the life and property of the traders in the provincial metropolis.
He expressed these views while meeting special meeting with the representative delegation of the central organization Tajeeran Khyber Pakhtunkhwa led by Ehtisham Haleem in Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar.
He said that in view of which more additional manpower will be provided along with Ababil Squad, City Patrol Force, increasing police patrolling and solving traffic problems are also among the top priorities to improve security in congested markets.
“Capital City Police is using all its energies to prevent street crimes and and the positive results of the new strategy adopted to establish law and order,” CCPO said and added that police force fighting against the street crime.

The delegation including Atif Haleem, Haji Jahanzeb, Amjad Khan, Malik Alamgir, Abid Mohmand, Hashim Khan, Ashfaq Paracha and other leaders held meeting with CCPO and discussed security measurements.
Awareness walk by the businessmen for taking measures against drugs, especially ice, and raising awareness is worthy of praise.
During the meeting, President of Tajran Organization Ehtesham Haleem and other leaders informed the CCPO about the problems faced by the traders and also presented some suggestions on which the CCPO assured to solve the problems on priority basis.
While assuring to follow the suggestions, the CCPO clarified on the occasion that the Peshawar Police has launched a systematic and comprehensive crackdown against the accused involved in street crimes, during which dozens have been arrested so far.
