Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar visited the crime scene within the judicial complex on Monday and assured that all available steps would be taken to ensure the security of the complex.
During the visit, CCPO Peshawar also met with the session judge regarding the incident and discussed the incident. He said that the security of the complex would be improved.
He reviewed the overall security of the Judicial Complex Peshawar. He was briefed by the senior police officers about the incident that the accused entered to the complex in guise of a lawyer to escape the police check-up.
SP Security Atiq Shah, DSP Cantt Haroon Jadoon and other police officers were also present on this occasion.
According to preliminary investigation a personnel of CTD lost his life in the firing incident occurred inside the judicial complex Peshawar.
Police told media that four people including CTD officer sustained bullets wounds after an attacker opened fire on the premises of the complex.
The attacker has been arrested by the police along with the weapon he used for attack.
The arrested person has been identified as Abdul Wahab, son of Khan Zaman, who attacked on his rivals due to old enmity.
