CDA cares 1122 to be made more efficient: Anser Aziz

ISLAMABAD. Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz said that CDA Cares 1122 is serving all over the city with full commitment. He said that MCI Cares 1122 is responding different incidents with in no time and more steps would be taken to reduce the response time. He directed the concerned officers to submit suggestions to further reduce response time.
He expressed these views during a meeting. The meeting was also attended by senior officers of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and CDA. The meeting reviewed weekly progress of CDA Cares 1122.
On this occasion, the meeting was informed that Cares 1122 of MCI have attended 136 calls of different emergency nature during the last week. All calls were responded promptly and after providing first aid the victims of different incidents were shifted to nearest most medical facility.
Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz was informed that most of the calls received during the last week were pertaining to the Road Traffic Accidents which were 74 in number. These calls were received from the areas of I-10/2, Zoo Chowk, Gulberg Green Chowk, Islamabad Expressway, Park Road, F-9 Park Mehran Gate, Kashmir Highway, DhokariChowk, Barma Bridge, Zia Masjid Highway, F-10 Roundabout Margalla Road, Motorway Chowk, Puli Stop G-10, Zero Point Kashmir Highway, H-11 Police Line, NUML University H-9, Nazamud Din Road, Margalla Phase-II, Park Road, G-11 Signal Kashmir Highway, Faisal Avenue, Faizabad Interchange, Zhurki Stop Sehala, F-10 Markaz, Police Line Signal Kashmir Highway, ChawkShahzad and Service Road G-11/2. All the victims of road accidents were shifted PIMS, Poly Clinic, Naval Hospital, Shifa International, PAF Hospital and other nearby hospitals.
The meeting was further informed that 06 calls regarding injuries of different nature were also attended. These emergency calls were received from different areas of the city including AthawalChowkBharaKoh, Pakistan Monument, Faisal Chowk, Kanwal Market I-10/2 and G-9 Signal Kashmir Highway. Most of the injured people were provided on spot emergency treatment and rest of them was shifted to PIMS, Poly Clinic Hospital and other nearby medical facility.
The meeting was further told that 20 calls regarding unconscious patients were also received during the last week from different areas of the city. These calls were received from the areas including F-11, Ghouri Town, G-13/4, Bari Imam, F-8, F-10/1, MandiMorr, Foreign Office Lodge G-5, I-10/2, G-6/2, I-10/1 and Safa Gold Mall F-7. The patients were shifted to PIMS, KRL Hospital, Poly Clinic and other nearby medical facilities.
The Mayor of Islamabad was also told that calls regarding patients suffering from heart pain, abdominal pain and other were also received during the last week. Moreover, CDA Cares 1122 also made special deployment of its vehicles at Nine (09) different locations including Serena Hotel, Marriott Hotel and AthawlChowkBharaKoh on request of different departments to cope with any emergency situation.
