Ceremony held in memory of Persian poet Nizami Ganjvi

A special event was organized in the Cultural Consulate Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Islamabad in memory of the famous Iranian poet Hakeem Nizami Ganjavi.
At this occasion a book of Professor Dr. Muzaffar Ali Kashmiri was also launched.
The Deputy Ambassador of Iran Agha Shirazi was the Chief Guest at on the occasion.
Mir Amini from Shaheed Behishti University, Dr. Muzaffar Ali Kashmiri, Amber Yasmeen, Head of Persian Department, NUML University, Islamabad, were among the speakers.
Ehsan Khazaei, Cultural Consular Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran Islamabad presented the welcome speech and Amber Yasmeen welcomed the attendees.
And highlighted the importance of deep ties between the two countries, other important personalities also addressed in this meeting.
Teachers and students of different universities also participated in this meeting.
Ehsan Khazai said that I welcome the researchers of Nizami Ganjavi from Pakistan and Iran to this event and first of all I am grateful to the honorable dean of the department of Persian language and literature of NUML University who assisted in organizing this program.
It is a matter of pride for us that Dr. Anjum Hameed and Dr. Amir Ameeni of the Department of Persian Language and Literature of Shaheed Beheshti University of Iran are present in this event today and we benefited from their conversation.
Today is a day of great significance for many reasons. Today is Shab e Barat, the Shaban ul Moazzam and Hakeem Nizami, on which I congratulate all the distinguished guests.
Khazai said that in another part of the program, we will unveil the translation of a book by a scholar and cultural figure, Dr. Muzaffarli Kashmiri.
An important focus of public diplomacy is the familiarity with each other’s cultural personalities, which provides an opportunity for cross-cultural mutual understanding between cultures and nations.
Prominent literary figures are not bound by geographical boundaries and literary figures like Nizami and Iqbal play a prominent role in the promotion of cultural and literary relations between the two countries.
Nizami was also engaged in learning art and perfections in his youth like all scholars.
Due to his hard work and dedication in acquiring knowledge and dignity, he has reached this high position and status of civilization and eloquence.
Persian literature has a great role in bringing to light the great culture of Iran, and Hakim Nizami, one of the four peaks of Persian literature and master of storytelling, is considered one of Iran’s cultural architects.
Undoubtedly, the study of Nizami can create an effective movement among the his lovers, whether it is Iran or other countries that have a passion for the Persian language.
This day is celebrated by organizing various events and conferences to get familiar with Nizami and its scientific works.
