Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal called on chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani in parliament house Monday and presented him NAB annual report for 2020.
Apprising the chairman Senate of the details of ongoing accountability process in the country, Chairman NAB said steps are being initiated to make the ongoing accountability process more effective and transparent so that an impartial system of accountability could be put in place in the country.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani said the transparency and impartiality should be maintained in accountability process at every cost and it should be ensured that the impression of harassing traders and investors in the guise of accountability stands dispelled. The traders community will get a better environment due to elimination of corruption and this way the trade and investment will be developed in the country.
Chairman NAB apprised the Chairman Senate positive suggestions from stake holders and business community will be welcomed. No one should fear from accountability process. NAB agenda is to provide a congenial and corruption free environment for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
