Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, inaugurated the 9th International Solar Energy Meet, a two-day exhibition showcasing advancements in solar technology.
The event, held in Peshawar, has drawn participation from over 80 local and international companies specializing in solar energy and renewable solutions.
During his visit, Chief Secretary Chaudhry toured the various stalls, engaging with company representatives to discuss the latest innovations.
He highlighted the importance of adopting environmentally friendly and cost-effective energy sources, stressing that solar power is crucial in overcoming current energy challenges.
“This event marks a significant step in promoting alternative energy solutions, aligning with our commitment to sustainable development and environmental preservation,” he stated.
Chaudhry reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to supporting the expansion of renewable energy, affirming that solar energy remains a top priority for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s energy strategy.
