Chines delegation hands over camp building to Abbottabad UST

On the occasion of 72nd anniversary of Pak-China diplomatic relationship and 10th anniversary of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, a Chines delegation paid a visit to Abbottabad University of Science and Technology.
The delegation on the occasion, handed over the Chinese CPEC Camp Building to the varsity.
The delegation was led by the Deputy General Manager (CRBC) Pakistan, Mr. Liu Chaoyang.
He was accompanied by the General Project Manager CCCCL CPEC-HT Project, Wang Hui and the team.
Secretary Higher Education Archives, and Libraries, Dr. Aneela Mehfooz Durrani, was was the chief guest of the ceremony.
The Vice-Chancellor Abbottabad UST, Prof. Dr. Malik Mujaddad-ur-Rehman, welcomed the delegation and delivered a talk on the significance of the CPEC for both the countries.
Mr. Liu Chaoyang thanked the Vice-Chancellor and ensured that China will continue to do developmental projects in Pakistan.
The guests were presented shields by the Vice-Chancellor and the Secretary HED. The Chinese delegation also exchanged shields with the VC and the Secretary HED.
Dr. Aneela Mehfooz Durrani, congratulated all the PI’s for their achievement and reiterated the importance of research environment at the varsities.
