LAHORE: A citizen has alleged that he was brutally assaulted by a group of men in Lahore’s Factory Area over a dispute related to commission, while police have yet to register a case despite the passage of more than 24 hours. According to the complainant, Muhammad Khurram, CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced showing the suspects allegedly subjecting him to severe physical assault. In his application submitted to the police, Khurram nominated Umair Bhatti, Faisal Bhatti, Zahoor and four unidentified suspects. The complainant alleged that the attackers fractured one of his ribs, damaged his mobile phone worth Rs85,000 and struck him on the head with a glass bottle, causing serious injuries. ONLINE
