Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed has emphasized the pivotal role of the City Patrol Force in promoting a positive image of the police and providing swift assistance to the public. As first responders, he said, their responsibilities were crucial in preventing street crimes and ensuring public safety.
He made these remarks while inspecting the vehicles, modern equipment, and personnel of the City Patrol Force during a visit to Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines. SSP Operations Masood Ahmed and DSP City Patrolling Usman Khan were also present on the occasion.
During the visit, DSP Usman Khan gave a comprehensive briefing on the performance of the force, including the condition of patrol vehicles, available resources, personnel deployment, and operational challenges.
Addressing the officers, CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed urged police personnel to adopt a compassionate and service-oriented approach toward the public. “If police officers truly consider themselves public servants and treat citizens with respect and empathy, not only will public grievances be resolved promptly, but the prestige and trust in the police force will also be significantly enhanced,” he stated.
He further directed the force to carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, and courage, adding that public service and a positive attitude are essential for strengthening the bond between the police and the community.
