Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Prime Minister House on Thursday.
According to a press release in the meeting, a discussion was held on the national defense and professional issues regarding the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The Prime Minister appreciated the professional and operational readiness of the Pakistan Army and said that despite the limited resources, all the requirements for the defense and security of the country will be met.
He paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan forces as heroes and said that their sacrifices will not go in vain.
