CM Balochistan highlights rising foreign investment

Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that there has been a significant increase in foreign investors’ interest in the province, reflecting growing confidence in Balochistan’s economic potential and investment environment.
Outlining the government’s economic vision, Sarfraz Bugti in a post shared on social media platform X, said that the provincial administration is fully committed to promoting investment and creating new economic opportunities. He emphasized that attracting both local and foreign investment remains a top priority for the government.
The Chief Minister revealed that Saudi investors have shown particular interest in key sectors such as energy, minerals, agriculture, and infrastructure, which he described as holding immense potential for sustainable development and long-term growth in the province.
Sarfraz Bugti assured that the provincial government will provide all possible facilities and a conducive environment to foreign investors. He reiterated that practical steps are being taken to ensure ease of doing business, security, and institutional support, positioning Balochistan as an attractive destination for international investment.
Expressing optimism, he said that foreign investment would contribute to economic stability, job creation, and overall development in the province, paving the way for a stronger and more prosperous Balochistan. Saudi Investors expresses keen interest in investing in Balochistan: Bilal Khan Kakar
Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that Saudi Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud has expressed keen interest in investing in Balochistan.
A high-level meeting to discuss investment opportunities in Balochistan was held under the chairmanship of Saudi Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud and Bilal Khan Kakar, Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade.
The meeting focused on bilateral investment prospects and explored potential opportunities across various sectors in Balochistan. According to a press release, both sides held detailed discussions on strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, expressing strong commitment to enhancing mutual collaboration.
Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Khan Kakar highlighted that Balochistan is rich in natural resources and offers vast investment opportunities for foreign investors.
He noted that the provincial government is actively promoting foreign investment through investor-friendly policies aimed at creating a secure and facilitative business environment.
Bilal Khan Kakar assured that Saudi investors would be provided with complete facilities and institutional support. He emphasized that a one-window operation system is being implemented to facilitate Saudi investors, along with strong coordination among relevant government institutions to streamline investment processes.
He further pointed out that Balochistan has immense potential in energy, minerals, agriculture, and infrastructure, sectors that can play a vital role in the province’s economic development.Both sides expressed optimism that increased Saudi investment would contribute significantly to economic growth, job creation, and long-term development in Balochistan, while further strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
