Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah has conducted a detailed visit to Lachi Hospital and surrounding residential areas, assessing the medical facilities and key public services.
The visit followed a public grievance session held yesterday by former Federal Interior Minister and MNA, Shahryar Afridi. He was accompanied by the Tehsil Chairman Muhammad Ehsan, the district administration, Assistant Commissioner Lachi, DHO Kohat and Focal Persons of the concerned MNA and MPA.
During the visit, Commissioner Shah reviewed the availability of medicines, staff presence, overall cleanliness and water supply at the hospital, while listening directly to citizens’ feedback. He emphasized that the prompt and effective resolution of public problems is a top government priority and issued immediate directives to improve hospital services.
Later, the Commissioner inspected residential areas to assess drinking water and sanitation issues, directing the relevant departments to address the basic needs of the public without delay.
The visit was carried out under the directives of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Secretary and PMRU KP, aiming to ensure the delivery of essential services and timely resolution of local issues.
