PESHAWAR
A 22-member delegation of Community Welfare Society led Rehman College of Dentistry Peshawar Principal Dr Ghulam Rasool called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali on Tuesday.
In the meeting, the delegation apprised the Governor about the services provided by the Community Welfare Society across the province.
Dr Ghuam Rasool informed the Governor that the society has set up mobile health units through which they set up camps for free dental treatment in the backward areas in which free treatment is given to the poor and deserving people.
The delegation requested the governor for government support to set up campuses in far-flung areas of the province to extend their services to needy people.
On this occasion, Governor Ghulam Ali assured full cooperation to the community and appreciated the services in the field of health in the province.
The delegation included Dr. Sana Karamat, Dr. Kanwal Nazirawan, Dr. Sami Saleh Khan, Dr. Usman and students of Rehman College of Dentistry.
The Governor said that the spirit of serving humanity should always be kept alive in oneself. Fulfilling duties with the intention of serving the suffering humanity is the key to success in this world and the hereafter.
He appreciated the spirit and philanthropy of the Community Welfare Society of Rehman College of Dentistry and said that the government is committed to provide the best medical facilities in the province, especially to the people of remote and backward areas.
