Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said on Tuesday that a conspiracy had been hatched against the country through social media. He apologised over below-the-belt remarks during the past four and a half years, adding: “I never wish to be Talal Chaudhry or Shehbaz Gill.”
“The minds of the youth of Pakistan were changed through social media. An attempt was made to destroy Pakistan through Fifth Generation War,” he claimed. “The Arab countries were destroyed through social media in the name of the Arab Spring. People in those countries revolted in the name of freedom and change.
Those countries are not stable to date. Egypt survived because its army was very strong,” he pointed out.
