MOHMAND: Lieutenant General Umar Ahmad Bukhari, Corps Commander Peshawar (11 Corps), paid an official visit to Ghulono Sheikh Baba in the Mohmand District here other day, falling under the jurisdiction of the 114 Brigade. The visit was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Mohmand Muhammad Yasar Hassan, District Police Officer (DPO) Ikram Ullah (PSP), and Commandant Mohmand Rifles Colonel Asim Mehmood. During the visit, the Corps Commander Lt.Gen General Umar Ahmad Bukhari was briefed on the successful counter-terrorism operation conducted on September 10, 2025, in the Pashto Kandao area of Mohmand. Security forces reportedly neutralized 14 terrorists and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition in that operation. Commending the bravery and professionalism of the officers and soldiers involved, Lt. Gen. Umar Bukhari lauded their dedication to rooting out terrorism, sabotage, and criminal activities. He stated that security forces remain fully active and committed to eliminating threats to peace and stability in the region.
