Toshakhana-2 case

The court has dismissed bail plea of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana-2 case. The accused will be indicted on October 2 in Toshakhana-2 case. Bail pleas came up for hearing before Special judge central Shahrukh Arjumand Monday. PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were presented in the court. FIA prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and Umair Majeed appeared in the court along with team. Counsels for the accused including Suleman Safdar, Intizar Panjotha and Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared in the court.
FIA prosecutor was of the view the accused received Bvlgari jewelery set from Saudi government. The record of two items of Bvlgari set including necklace and ear rings has been obtained from foreign ministry.
FIA prosecutor said as per record cost of both the items stands at 7 crore 15 lac rupees. The accused did not deposit Bvlgari set in Toshakhana. The accused got assessed the cost of Bvlgari set by private firm at Rs 58 lac.
FIA prosecution team requested the court to dismiss the bail pleas of the accused persons.
The defence counsels gave arguments against the plea for dismissing bail application.
The court reserved judgment after hearing the arguments from the respondents.
The court while announcing judgment after interval rejected bail plea of the accused.
The accused will be indicted on October 2.
