Court has extended interim bail of PTI founder Imran Khan in six cases and his wife Bushra Bibi in one case. 6 interim bail pleas of Imran Khan and one interim bail plea of Bushra Bibi came up for hearing in district and session Courts Islamabad. Additional District and Session Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka extended interim bail of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Arguments could not be given in respect of bail pleas of PTI founder while reserved judgment in regard to bail plea of Bushra Bibi could not be announced.
No progress was made regarding bail pleas due to non availability of PTI founder.
It is pertinent to mention here the court during previous hearing had issued orders for presenting Imran Khan or arranging his attendance through video link.
The court adjourned hearing of bail before arrest pleas till September 9.
Khalid Yousuf Chadhry represented Imran Khan in the court.
It is pertinent to mention here 5 cases of protest, vandalizing and attempt to murder are registered against Imran Khan while one case is registered against Bushra Bibi for filing fake receipts in Toshakhana.
