PESHAWAR (PR): KP Finance Minister Muzaffar Said Advocate has said development of southern districts was among top most priorities of his govt.
Indus highway was being upgraded to motorway after being included in CPEC that would prove game changer in the region and people of all districts from Kohat to DIK would benefit from fruits of this extravaganza.
He was talking with Umar Farooq Miankhel convenor Justice Party from DIK who called on him in Peshawar and expressed concern on nefarious motives of center for ignoring KP and its govt of the CPEC developments as well as expressed solidarity with KP govt on this crucial issue.
Muzaffar Said Advocate assured that center would not be let loose to harm interests of the province in CPEC or any other sector whereas noose was being tightened around it for the purpose. However he while deploring negative approach of federal govt towards smaller provinces warned it against any self interest expeditions..
He said center must realise it high responsibilty of equally treating all provinces and never to allow harm any of its interests. KP Finance Minister further assured that CPEC issue has also been seriously taken by his party while JI chief Sirajul Haq was going to raise it with OM Nawaz at parliamentary level wherein all interests of KP would be fully safegaurded.
He lauded the role of Miankhel family in active politics and welfare activities of DIK. He said former MPA Fatehulah Miankhel joined JI with heart and soul thus promoting the just cause of his party in southern districts and strenghtening it.
He said he was impressed to see hundereds of thousands of people throng at sports ground in DIK on occasion of Jashn-e-Baharan (Spring Festival) arranged by Fateh Miankhel that loudly speak of the popular love and respect enjoyed by Miankhel family.
The minister also accepted DIK visit invitation of Umar Farooq Miankhel.
