CS Shah says focused on complete eradication of polio from KP

Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, Ayesha Raza Farooq, met with Chief Secretary KP, Shahab Ali Shah, at the Chief Secretary’s Office to review the ongoing efforts to eradicate polio in the province. According to an official statement the meeting, which was attended by officials from the National and Provincial Emergency Operations Centers, focused on the progress of the polio eradication campaigns, results achieved, and the challenges faced.
Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completely eliminate the polio virus from KP, stating that all available resources were being mobilized to achieve this goal.
During the meeting, the participants discussed strategies for improving the polio campaigns, emphasizing the importance of a coordinated approach to ensure every child has access to the polio vaccine. Special attention was given to the southern districts of the province, with plans for targeted campaigns to achieve effective results in these areas.
