CTO, SSP review security arrangements during late-night visits

Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah and SSP Operations Farhan Khan paid late-night visits to the traffic lines and various police stations to review security and administrative arrangements.
During the visit, the officers undertook a detailed assessment of security measures at sensitive locations and important installations. At Thana Town, they inspected officials’ accommodation, custody facilities, the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) office and record maintenance.
SSP Operations Mr Khan directed police personnel on duty to remain alert at all times, exercise vigilance and closely monitor any suspicious activity. DSP Town Arbab Naeem Haider briefed the officers on the security steps taken in the area.
CTO Dr Zahidullah also instructed traffic officials to adopt additional measures to further strengthen security arrangements at the traffic lines.
The officers emphasised optimal utilisation of available resources to enhance security at police stations to ensure prompt response to any untoward situation.
They also stressed the need to improve cleanliness and maintain discipline within police stations, advising personnel to treat citizens with courtesy and carry out their duties diligently while ensuring their own safety.
The officers reaffirmed their commitment to taking all necessary steps to protect life and property and to maintain law and order in the city.
