Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Aun Haider Gondal along with officials of the district administration, agriculture and food departments Wednesday visited the Timergara Vegetable Market during the morning bidding and inspected the rates and quality of food items.
After analyzing the wholesale rates of all items, the price list of vegetables and fruits has been released and warned those violating the rates issued by the district administration would be dealt with iron hands. Similarly, after the wholesale rate of chickens, the price list of chickens per kg was issued.
On this occasion, the top officials have said that Citizens can contact the concerned shopkeepers on the numbers given on the price lists against non-compliance with any official sale price list and can also lodge their complaint to DC Official APP.
In addition, Additional Assistant Commissioner Samarbagh Sher Rehman also inspected the shops of poultry, vegetables, fruits and butchers regarding the availability of essential items in Manda Bazaar and found violators. The identity cards of the accused were confiscated and the letter was sent to the local Police Station so that strict action could be taken against them.
