LANDIKOTAL: Deputy commissioner Khyber, Clcaptain (R) Bilal Shahid Rao, along with District Police Officer(DPO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal, paid a visit to the type-D hospital in Bazar Zakhakhel in Landikotal, where they inspected various wards of the facility. Additional deputy commissioner Gul Nawaz Afridi, additional deputy commissioner (Relief) Irshad Ali Mohmand, additional assistant commissioner Landikotal Shahabuddin,District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal and heads of line departments were also accompanied.
During the visit, DC Khyber reviewed the availability of medicines, facilities, services being provided to the public, staff attendance, cleanliness and overall requirements in the emergency ward, OPD, laboratory and other sections of the hospital.
Medical Superintendent(MS) Dr. Nasir Ali briefed the delegation in detail about the various wards and the healthcare services offered. The DC also interacted with patients to inquire about the quality of services and facilities.
Local elders requested uninterrupted electricity supply through a solar system. In response, the additional deputy commissioner (Finance) was directed to take necessary steps through the relevant forum.
DC Bilal Shahid Rao issued clear instructions to the concerned officials to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to all patients visiting the hospital.
