Deputy Commissioner Sanaullah Khan on Friday directed all departments to ensure timely implementation of provincial government directives, warning that any delay or negligence would not be tolerated.
The directives were issued during a high-level meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner to review progress on the implementation of provincial government orders.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Dawood Saleemi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) Muhammad Asghar Sorani, along with administrative officers and representatives of relevant departments.
Mr Khan emphasised that ensuring full and timely compliance with government instructions was the primary responsibility of all departments, adding that improving public service delivery remained the administration’s top priority.
He warned officials against any form of delay, negligence, or irresponsibility, directing departments to promptly address gaps identified through the District Service Delivery Dashboard.
The deputy commissioner also stressed the need for enhanced coordination among institutions, improved reporting mechanisms, and timely completion of assigned targets.
He further instructed departments to regularly update their performance records to ensure transparency and maintain overall administrative efficiency in the district.
“Public service is our foremost priority. We must bring improvement in every sector and accelerate service delivery to resolve citizens’ issues,” he said, adding that no negligence in this regard would be tolerated.
