NOWSHERA: To prevent any unfortunate incidents, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Irfanullah Mehsud has issued a strong warning for people to stay away from the banks of Indus River after Tarbela Dam spillways were opened. The district administration confirmed the spillways opened at 12:30 PM on Saturday and water discharge from the dam was projected to increase the river’s flow to a substantial 260,000 to 270,000 cusecs.
