Director General (DG) health Dr Shaheen visited Headquarter Hospital, Landi Kotal on Wednesday.
Flanked by Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Muhammad Adnan Qadri, the visiting health high-up examined various sections of the health center and their records.
Speaking on the occasion DG Health Dr Shaheen said that restoration of uninterrupted power supply in HQ Hospital, Landi Kotal was the first priority to be dealt with, which affected the efficiency of the health center.
ALL arrears will be paid to restore electricity supply, she said and added the problem of water deficiency in the hospital will be solved soon.
The high health official maintained that as many as 126 medical equipment lacking the hospital would be provided in the coming two to three months.
On a query she said stern departmental action would be taken against absent health officials of the hospital.
Keeping in view the huge building of the hospital she vowed to hire additional sanitary and security crew for the cleaning purpose.
Prior to it, Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr Ihtesham appraised the visiting official of the problems and shortage of different facilities in the hospital.
On the other hand the locals expressed their dissatisfaction over the DG,Helath visit and declared it just a routine process.
They said that if the health highup was sincere to improve competency of the hospital she had to visit in the working hours to enquire miseries of outdoor departments patients.
