DIG-Hazara Region appreciates Abbottabad police camp for flood-hit people

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara Region Mirwais Niaz on Monday appreciated the Abbottabad police for setting up a camp to collect aid for flood-hit families of the province.
He visited the camp and urged the business community, media representatives and others for financial support to help the flood victims.
People belonging to different walks of life visited the police camp and were given full financial support which will be delivered to the flood victims.
DIG Hazara Region Mirwais Niaz and DPO Abbottabad Sajjad Khan visited Amdari camp in the presence of the general public, policemen, businessmen, and the media.
DIG Hazara while talking to all the participants said that the media representatives, peace committee, trade union and other persons who support the police on every occasion.
“ I am very grateful to them. I see that common people passing through this Sadar Bazaar and especially women are also giving aid in this relief camp,” he added.
Mirwais Niaz said that everyone should participate in the aid according to their ability as thousands of families across the province are in a very difficult time and waiting for assistance and help.
He said that aid collected in the camp would be distributed among people affected by floods and rains in Upper Kohistan, Lohar Kohistan, Mahnoor Valley and many other areas.
Our friends from other districts and other provinces also gave relief items to this relief camp and we will bring this relief to the same camp and deliver it to the victims, he added.
DIG Hazara himself donated Rs 25 thousand cash in the relief camp. On this occasion, businessman leader Naeem Awan donated Rs350 lakh for flood victims.
