Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has announced a six months digital internship for female students of information technology to equip them with practical skills and knowledge relevant to their field of study.
“The paid internship will enhance the employability of young female graduates by providing them real work and experience,” said Dr. Akif Khan, Managing Director KPITB.
Talking with APP, Dr. Akif said the internship will also provide mentorship and career advice to help interns make informed career decisions.
The six months training will contribute to the development of a skilled workforce to support the economic growth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he hoped.
Fresh graduates or applicant graduated in last three years from date of advertisement are eligible for the internship and applicants must have domicile of KP and merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Fresh graduates may also apply by submitting course completion certificate. Applicant having post-qualification experience are not eligible to apply. Applicant already availed KPITB Digital Internship are not eligible.
The applicants should have Master’s degree at least 16 years of Education in IT, computer science, Software Engineering or any other ICT related field.
During internship, training will be provided on web development, Graphic design, app development, UI/UX, web Designing, AI, Digital Marketing, etc.
A monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 will be paid to all the applicants, MD KPITB added.
About number of internees, he said, decision will be taken on basis of applications received for the opportunity.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Internship Program portal.
The selection process includes an initial screening of applications, followed by interviews and assessments to match interns with suitable roles.
