Distt Admin ensures implementation of COVID-19 SOPs

On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Dir lower Saadat Hassan, the district administration Monday continued strict implementation of COVID-19 SOPs.
Assistant Commissioner Timergara Tahir Ali paid visit to main bazaar Timergara and inspected various shops, hotels and restaurants in connection with the implementation of anti COVID SOPs.
The violators were booked under Epidemic Control & emergency relief act 2020 and NDMA 2010.
The Assistant Commissioner also paid visit to various markets along with President and other reps of trade union, conduct awareness session and engaged all stakeholders to follow anti Covid SOPs.
During the visit hotels, addas, shops were inspected they also distributed face masks among the public including passengers, shopkeepers and general public.
Social distancing circle were drawn in front of the shops and all the shopkeeper were directed to strictly abide by the SOPs.
The hotel owners were also directed not to serve food in the hotel premises only take away service is allowed, otherwise stern action under section33 NDMA will be initiated against the violators, moreover price checking at timergara bazaar was also carried out and 6 violators were booked under the relevant sections of law on account of overpricing and cleanliness.
Moreover on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Malakand, the Additional Assistant Commissioner Batkhela Muazzam Khan carried out the different activities on Monday.
He visited Batkhela transport Adda and directed the transporters and passengers to ensure social distancing and wear face masks during travelling. Those not following the instructions shall be dealt under the law and Addas would be sealed and license shall be cancelled after violation made for the second time.
On the occasion, general price checking at main Bazar Totakan was also carried out and warnings were issued to the shopkeepers to refrain from overcharging.
