District Police Officer (DPO) Upper Chitral Muhammad Ateeq Shah on Thursday highlighted the importance of best investigation practices in policing, adding that investigation on modern lines in the need of the hours and backbone of the police force.
He expressed these views while chairing a special meeting of Probationers Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) in his office.
According to a statement, the meeting was attended by nine newly appointed probationers ASIs of Upper Chitral district.
The meeting was given a detailed on the importance of modern technical policing.
The DPO highlighted the importance of best investigation and the usefulness of best investigation in policing.
DPO Upper Chitral on this occasion also issued instruction to the participants of the meeting regarding the duty in the police force.
Muhammad Ateeq Shah advised the probationers ASIs that they should not feel any shame in the learning process even if they have to learn from their juniors.
He advised to continue the learning process till the last day of retirement.
Later, district police chief welcomed all the probationers ASIs to the field work and prayed for their successful service and directed them not to act in haste.
