SWABI: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Topi Muhammad Ijaz Wednesday said district police would continue to extend full support to Dispute Resolution Councils (DRC) which was successfully resolving petty disputes out of court. Addressing the members of DRC here at police station Topi, Muhammad Ijaz while appreciating the efforts of DRCs said that Dispute Resolution Council launched to facilitate the common person in getting petty issues resolved cordially through an alternate process of restorative justice involving members of the civil society. Secretary DRC Topi Amjad Saeed, Muhammad Bashir, Syed Arif Shah, Sultan Sher, Haider Zaman, Abdul Bahadar, Noor Muhammad Jadoon and other on this occasion informed the DSP that 365 petty dispute have been successfully resolved during last year.
