Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan chaired a meeting to review educational activities and development initiatives in PK-23 Malakand, directing officials to ensure the timely completion of projects and improve the quality of education across the constituency.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Shakeel Khan, Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Khalid, Director Elementary and Secondary Education Jafar Mansoor Abbasi, and Managing Director of the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation Qaiser Alam.
Participants were given a detailed briefing on educational initiatives in PK-23, while the forum reviewed the existing educational situation, ongoing development schemes, and the performance of boys’ and girls’ educational institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Arshad Ayub Khan said the provincial government was committed to improving the quality of education and providing modern facilities to students across the province.
The meeting reviewed proposed education projects for the 2026-27 fiscal year and issued directives for their timely planning and execution in PK-23 Malakand. Officials were also instructed to upgrade existing schools, establish new educational institutions in underserved areas, and immediately address shortages of basic facilities, furniture, and teaching staff in both boys’ and girls’ schools.
The participants agreed on measures to increase student enrolment, ensure continuity in education, and improve learning outcomes. The minister also directed the authorities to expedite the completion of ongoing development projects and resolve pending issues on a priority basis.
Arshad Ayub Khan instructed the relevant officials to submit monthly progress reports and ensure transparency in the implementation of all educational initiatives in the constituency.
He said the provincial government, under the leadership of the Chief Minister, was taking practical steps to make quality education accessible to every child in KP.
