Addressing the conference, Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate stated that education and health remain among the top priorities of the PTI-led provincial government. He affirmed the government’s commitment to developing an education system that meets global standards.
The minister emphasized that the current administration does not support political interference in the education sector, which, he noted, has led to visible improvements compared to previous years. He urged teachers to concentrate on the academic development of students rather than matters of posting and transfer, describing education as the essential path to national progress, prosperity, and global respect.
Highlighting the transformative power of education, Aftab Alam remarked that nations prioritizing education are leading the world today. He referenced historical contributions by Muslim scholars and scientists in medicine and science as evidence of the community’s former intellectual leadership.
Underscoring the importance of holistic education, the minister stressed the need for character and confidence building among students alongside academic learning. He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to instituting a robust system of checks and balances in all sectors, and to fostering a school environment that naturally attracts and motivates students to attend.
Later in the ceremony, distinguished guests distributed cash prizes and certificates of appreciation among the top-performing male and female students and their teachers.
