Like other parts of the country, the day was celebrated in Badin district where a larger numbers of participants took part in the processions, congregations and other programmes held in all cities and towns of the district Badin to observe Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) with religious fervour and zeal on Tuesday.
In the district headquarters, the day began with the celebration of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi by organising gigantic rallies led by religious leaders.
A number of processions were also taken out from different places and the participants distributed food and sweets all along their routes.
No untoward incident took place as stringent security arrangements were made by Distrct police led by SSP Badin Sheeraz Nazir across the district.
The faithful carrying green flags and big banners and chanting ‘Ya Nabi, Ya Nabi’ and reciting Naats marched through various streets on foot and vehicles.
Bazaars, markets, roads, private buildings and mosques were decorated with illuminations and green flags while sweets and other items were distributed by people as Langar.
Several other rallies and processions were taken out in other cities and towns of district including Seerani, Tando Bago, SF Rahu, Matli, Talhar and others cities throughout the day under the aegis of different religious parties and organisations.
