LAHORE: Flight operations at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport were disrupted on Sunday as eight domestic and international flights were cancelled due to a shortage of aircraft and other technical issues, aviation sources said. According to media reports, the following flights were canceled: PIA Flight PK-797 (Lahore to Toronto), PIA Flight PK-302 (Karachi to Lahore), PIA Flight PK-303 (Lahore to Karachi), Fly Jinnah Flight 9P-586 (Lahore to Jeddah), Airblue Flight PA-413 (Sharjah to Lahore),Airblue Flight PA-480 (Skardu to Lahore),Fly Jinnah Flight 9P-501 (Sharjah to Lahore), PIA Flight PK-306 (Karachi to Lahore) Airport authorities stated that operations were affected primarily due to limited aircraft availability and technical constraints, while efforts are underway to normalise flight schedules.
