Event held for Orphans children at PMC Peshawar

In a heartwarming display of compassion and unity, the students and faculty of Peshawar Medical College, Peshawar Dental College, Rufaidah Nursing College and Alkhidmat Foundation came together to create a Day of Joy and Care for orphaned children at Peshawar medical college.
This collaborative effort aimed not only to spread love and joy but also to address the holistic well-being of these wonderful young souls.
Prof Dr Hafeez ur Rehman, Dean,PMC and president Alkhidmat Foundation was chief guest of the closing ceremony.
The chief guest, Khalid Weqas, Prisident Alkhidmat, Tauha Ibn Jaleel, Barullah khan, Arbab Abdul Haseeb,Iftikhar Ahmad addressed the ceremony.
Dr Hafeez ur Rehman and Prof Dr Mohammad Aman Khan, Principal, KMC gave away prizes to the distinction holders on the occasion.
Orphaned children presented naaat, songs and tableau in the closing ceremony.
The day began with a focus on health and well-being as orphaned children and their mothers received thorough medical checkups.
The dedicated healthcare professionals from our partnering organizations ensured that every child’s health was prioritized, accompanied by mental health support to nurture their emotional well-being.
Inside, a magical world unfolded, filled with arts and crafts, painting, and face painting. The children immersed themselves in creativity, expressing their unique personalities through colorful masterpieces.
The indoor sports corner provided a platform for friendly competition and team spirit, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the young participants.
The outdoor space transformed into an Extravaganza of fun and excitement. A Bouncy Castle brought giggles and laughter, while cricket, tug of war, football, and spoon race competitions added a burst of energy to the day.
The children not only enjoyed the thrill of the games but also learned valuable lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship.
This event provided a day of joy but also created lasting memories for these incredible children.
