PESHAWAR: Successful operation of Police Station Excise Peshawar Region by foiling an attempt of large quantities of drugs to Punjab, a spokesman of the Excise Police said here Saturday. The Excise officials recovered 4000 grams of heroin in the operation and three suspects were arrested, the spokesman said. He said action was taken on secret information at H Goal Chowk Peshawar towards Islamabad. The Excise Police recovered 4000 grams of heroin from vehicle number LEA 6826 and three suspects were arrested on the spot with further investigation is underway besides a case has been registered in the concerned Police Station under drug act.
