First Information Report (FIR) against former Federal Minister for religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri was lodged in police station Jamrud.
Mr Qadri had won election from Na-43,Khyber under the flag of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI)and had got an important portfolio in the former government of PTI and was considered a trusted associate of Imran Khan.
The police official said on Saturday that a local, Zaidullah son of Yar jan Sikandar Khel,Jamurd filed an application in the office of Deputy Commissioner,Khyber alleging the ex-Federal Minister for delivering hate speech against security departments and honorable judges.
The speech that was viral at the social media not only maligning the state departments but also earned a bad name for the country, the stated.
After necessary action, the application was sent to the District Police Officer (DPO) for consideration.
And under the direction of DPO, on the complaint of the plaintiff, an FIR was filed against Noorul Haq Qadri in Jamrud police station.
It is to be mentioned here that on the last day Noorul Haq Qadri flew off to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
