PESHAWAR
Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah called for implementation of law for reward and punishment on an equitable basis.
The party leader said the judiciary, military, parliament and all public segments can jointly overcome the economic, social and political issues.
He said issues are massive but we should also make a large canvas of justice and authority as well.
Shah was talking to lawyers and public delegations here on Wednesday.
He said ease should be brought in the provision of justice and to remove the concept between important and ordinary people to end frustration and hatred forever.
The ATP chairman said powerful people committed crime and they weren’t guilty and poor people were languishing in jails, which has removed trust in the courts and law in society.
Also, he asked to hear cases on equitable grounds and make a verdict on them.
He said jurists will be held accountable in this world and day of justice and they will give answers to every level of their position, he added.
Faiq said crime was occurring everywhere but society would prosper if justice could be ensured at every level.
He demanded speedy trials in courts, provision of justice at public doorstep and appointment of judges on merit basis.
The ATP chief urged the Supreme Court, parliament and institutions should play their constitutional role.
He said justice should be provided to farmers, laborers and weaker segments of the society so that there will be rain of blessings and remove cruelty, oppression and society will gain progress and prosperity.
