Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah while commenting on the communiqué of yesterday’s meeting of the National Security Committee on Saturday said the highest civil, military forum has talked about public relief, which is extremely welcoming.
He, however, stressed that the NSC should be reshaped into the Board of Wisdom and Honesty so that it will be further better to take joint initiatives for the national interest and security. The board should consist of representation of all political parties, institutions, opposition, think tanks, representatives of media and business circles, which could result in major progress in public relief, authority, and prosperity and development, he added.
He maintained it is the best solution in the prevailing circumstances. Faiq eulogized that institutions had rendered matchless sacrifices to peace and stability. It is essential to build up a broader national consensus to prevent wastage, the ATP chief stressed.
Shah went on to say that peace and security will be damaged in the internecine political warfare.
He asserted that all institutions should demonstrate greatness and expand the forum to have joint efforts.
The party leader viewed that the National security for public authority and progress was paramount important because peace and stability could not bring sans it.
Faiq said the government should give invitations to opposition for dialogue and should create national consensus for political, economic and defence stability.
He asked: “Isn’t that cannot do for the sake of Pakistan?
The ATP chairman noted the political, social and economic segregation has been intensified.
He opined the only solution is to build up a national consensus in the current scenario.
That could only be made possible with cooperation from all institutions, he added.
We are ready to give a complete sketch in this regard, Shah offered.
The party leader said the president, prime minister, judiciary and military leadership should take step first, saying that Pakistan has resources and means of development in every sector.
He stressed that this process should be initiated as early as possible.
