Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party urged the people to judiciously exercise their democratic right to vote on February 8. Shah asked the government and Election Commission of Pakistan to take pragmatic steps to maintain law and order during Election Day, besides holding of the transparent polls.
The ATP chairman said February 8 would be the “day of salvation” for the nation as “anti-people parties” would fall flat on their faces.
The party leader said dynastic politics is detrimental for the nation and the country, which would be buried with the power of people’ vote on Feb 8.
Two families ruled [Pakistan] seven times, but instead of progressing, the country went backwards by decades,” Mr Shah claimed while addressing different public meetings and workers in district Charsadda.

The ATP chief pointed out that currently, around 110 million people in the country were forced to live below the poverty line.
He added that these “incompetent” people were responsible for the country’s uncertain economic and political situation.
Faiq commented on ATP’ manifesto, stating that his party is the best solution and ideological alternative force for young people.
He stressed that the vote should be given to the manifesto and program when people will be empowered then the country will progress and issues would be resolved.
In this regard, he asserted the election commission and other relevant institutions needed to play their role.

He emphasized it is imperative to promote industries, agriculture, trade and businesses to put the feeble county’ economy on the right track.
Shah called for making Pakistan a financially self-reliant nation by focusing on indigenous resources.
The ATP chief said it is essential to provide opportunities to youth to play their role in national progress.
Faiq asked voters to judge the present and past of rulers and politicians before going into casting vote on the Election Day and bury the hereditary politics forever.
